The Vinnies Ignite programme focuses on training youth mentors to develop essential skills in facilitating, well-being, social awareness, and project management. This initiative aims to empower young people to become effective leaders and role models within their communities.

Youthwork Mentoring and Upskilling

The programme offers opportunities for micro qualifications eg: paid first aid training, safeguarding training, motor licensing, privacy training, money mates. It offers other upskilling eg: facilitation, working with young people in youth work and related fields, creating potential pathway opportunities for participants.

Well-Being and Social Awareness

The programme emphasises the importance of mental and emotional well-being, equipping mentors with the tools to support their peers and foster a positive environment.

Project Management Skills

Young mentors gain valuable experience in planning and managing community projects, enhancing their organisational and leadership abilities.
