The Lauolaola is a Pasifika Family Well-Being programme is designed to support families in Auckland New Zealand by promoting safety, resilience, well-being and violence prevention. This programme focuses on creating a safe environment where families can thrive and advocates for their rights, their safety and needs.

Advocacy & Support

The programme provides advocacy for families affected by poverty, social isolation, social harm, abuse amongst others. This programme works at ensuring they have access to necessary people, resources, support services, and information about their rights.

Holistic Well-Being

Focused on overall well-being using Pasifika wellbeing models, the programme addresses mental, emotional, and physical health, providing workshops and resources that empower families to improve their quality of life.

Community Engagement

The programme promotes community involvement through talanoa sessions facilitated by experience Pasifika elder practitioners creating a network of support for families and encouraging community resilience.

Education and Prevention

It includes educational components aimed at raising awareness about the impacts of violence and promoting strategies for prevention, helping families to identify and respond to unhealthy situations.

Through this programme, families are supported in navigating their challenges, advocating for their needs, and building stronger, healthier relationships, ultimately fostering a safer and more resilient community.
